A sustainable horizon

After a decade of activity, ACCM is now a benchmark organization on the African continent for the promotion and sustainable structuring of choral music. ACCM is developing a strategic vision based on 3 strategic areas with one ambition: to make African choral music a vector for sustainable development.

GOALS

Promotion

To develop and promote choral music in Africa in all its cultural and linguistic diversity, as a factor for sustainable development, integration, dialogue and peace between peoples, particularly through youth

Professionalization

To support the professionalization of the choral music sector in Africa, through an environment conducive to employment and the development of a choral industry, a vector of image and sustainable growth

Structuration

Encourage the creation of strong choral structures at national, sub-regional or even regional level, and work towards the growth of the African Youth Choir (CAJ)

Partnership

Promote synergies and partnerships between African players in choral music, in the fields of training, research, creation and distribution of repertoires and products

Exchanges

Develop exchanges and cooperation with the international choral world, and with reference structures on other continents, in a spirit of sharing and openness to other choral cultures
